JangoMed is developing two products for the human market that build upon regenerative medicine technologies being advanced through JangoPet. The first is a mesenchymal stem cell (MSC) therapy for osteoarthritis (OA), leveraging the experience and technologies established through JangoPet’s veterinary OA program. The second is an allogeneic, hormone-producing organoid therapy designed to restore circulating sex hormone levels and address age-related hormone decline and associated conditions. These organoids are designed to integrate into the patient and restore balance to the hypothalamic-pituitary-gonadal (HPG) axis, treating hypogonadism and symptoms associated with menopause and andropause, while potentially reducing the impact of age-related conditions linked to HPG axis dysregulation, including cardiovascular and metabolic diseases, sarcopenia (muscle atrophy), and neurodegenerative diseases. Together, these programs are intended to translate technologies initially developed and validated in veterinary medicine into regenerative therapies for human health.
