He has held positions at National Cancer Institute, Harvard Medical School, Case Western Reserve University, and the University of Wisconsin–Madison.

Dirk Racine, C.P.A., C.T.P.

Mr. Racine is Director of Treasury Operations for Telephone and Data Systems, Inc., an angel investor in the Wisconsin start-up community and active member of the Wisconsin Investment Partners, and an expert in cash management system/process design, technology application, including SOX404, PCI DSS, data mining, analysis, data visualization, and strategic planning.

Chief Medical Officer. Dr. Yu is a urological surgeon based in Annapolis, Maryland and
Washington, DC (Aegis Medical and Research Associates) and a Professor of Urology at the George Washington University Medical Center. Dr. Yu’s research and clinic focuses on strategies to rebalance sex hormones to promote healthy aging.

Sivan Meethal, Ph.D

Director of Product Development

Sivan Meethal, Ph.D. heads up research and development at JangoBio. He is a trained biochemist with expertise in endocrinology and cell cycle biology and has over 30 years of bench research experience, including cell culture (embryonic and adult stem cells, transformed cell lines), sex hormone analyses, morphology, immunofluorescent and immunoblot analyses, and molecular biology techniques required for this project. He oversees all aspects of cell product development, from generation of biologics, to testing of function in vitro and in vivo.

Erin Slosarek, Ph.D., M.B.A.

Director of Cell Biology

Erin Slosarek, Ph.D., M.B.A. heads our cell biology division. Dr. Slosarek is a trained endocrinologist and cellular biologist who has over 20 years of experience in the culture of embryonic, adult and induced pluripotent stem cells. Formerly at Cellular Dynamics International, she also has business training and will drive the biomanufacturing of our lead biologics.

Taeyoung Shin, D.V.M., Ph.D.

Director of Veterinary Research

Dr. Shin is a veterinary scientist (trained at Seoul National University) who has worked in the field of reproductive physiology in both academia and industry for the past 25 years. He has extensive experience with animal  cloning (including cattle, pig, sheep, goat, dog, cat and horse), transgenic model generation, CRISPR technology and in vitro fertilization techniques. The live clones that Dr. Shin has created include a Brucellosis resistant Augus bull, a prize-winning Boer goat, world first cloned cat, world first cloned white-tailed deer and several piglets.

Lisa Krugner-Higby, D.V.M., Ph.D., DACLAM

Veterinarian

Lisa Krugner-Higby, D.V.M., Ph.D., DACLAM is a Research Animal Veterinarian at the Research Animal Resources Center, and Clinical Associate Professor, Department of Surgical Sciences, University of Wisconsin-Madison. Dr. Krugner-Higby has 30 years of veterinary surgery experience and direct program authority and responsibility for our animal care and use program.
